Worldpay leads the field in total processing volume and number of transactions according to the report.

Worldpay^®, a global industry leader in payments technology and solutions, is the number one merchant acquirer in Europe according to new analysis from The Strawhecker Group (TSG). The inaugural directory from the analytics and consulting firm looked at more than 180 merchant acquiring firms and more than 3,700 data points in making its listings.

Worldpay was recognized as the number one acquirer in Europe for its processing of more transactions and more total value in dollars than its competitors. The report’s findings were based on a mix of primary surveys from listed entities reviewed in combination with secondary research of publicly available materials.
